Pocket Tea Tales: Gentle Imaginative Stories for Children

Pocket Tea Tales is a storytelling podcast for children and the folks who love them. These stories come from a practice I’ve carried for years: reaching into my pocket and finding just the right story for the moment. In classrooms, in my rocking chair at home, wherever a child needs something gentle, funny, or healing--these tales are told in that same spirit. 

Each episode offers a simply told, imaginative story, often filled with animals, nature, small creatures, and a touch of magic. Low in tension and rich in feeling, these are stories shaped to meet children where they are. The tales aim to nourish empathy, resilience, and a child’s inner life.

Some are comforting, some are playful, and all are told with care and deep respect for childhood. Rooted in a culturally informed, Waldorf approach to early childhood, Pocket Tea Tales is a place to settle in, listen, and return to often.
